BOYS DIVISIONS
14U Division
Birth Years 2011 & 2012
The 14U Division will offer 10 hours of practice sessions, 10 game league schedule, a 4 game minimum fall tournament hosted in October.
We are planning on a 8 team Division at the 14U level this season. Although should adequate numbers and talent present themselves, the WEHL is open to expanding the number of teams in the division. Determination to add a second team to a region will be determined by the WEHL Supervisor, Regional GM, and Coaches.
Players in Middle School are eligible to play in our league.

16U Division
Birth Years 2009 & 2010
The 16U Division will offer 13 hours of practice and a 20 game league schedule which includes a fall tournament.
We are planning on an 7-9 team Division at the 16U level this season. Although should adequate numbers and talent present themselves, the WEHL is open to expanding the number of teams in the division. Determination to add a second team to a region will be determined by the WEHL Supervisor, Regional GM, and Coaches.

18U Division
Birth Years 2007 & 2008
As was done last year teams will participate in three Festivals
Times and locations will follow later this summer. In addition to the festival weekends, we will have 8 hours of skill based practice ice in each region. We feel that this format will be better suited to allow skaters to participate in WEHL activities as well as outside activities. Additionally, these dates to not conflict with festival dates that the Janesville Jr Jets, and the Chippewa Steel will be attending. This will allow skaters that wish to play both WEHL and Jets/Steel an opportunity to play both.

Girls DIVISIONS
Maintaining the Mission of the Wisconsin Elite Hockey League, Girls WEHL will provide Before & After WIAA season competition in a Regionally based format to provide athletes with player development opportunities prior to their regular season, while still being able to participate in other activities. Players 16U & 18U age must play for their WIAA team if available to them. 14U players can play for either their WIAA team or their 14U WAHA association team.
WEHL is open to expanding the number of teams in divisions. Adding a second team to a region will be determined by the WEHL Supervisor, Regional GM, and Coaches.
Regional practices will begin mid August - Competitions will run September - November for 14U 16U 18U & August - September for 12U
Skaters who tried out with Team Wisconsin 14U 16U or 19U, and were invited to the final camp but did not receive a roster spot, will have an automatic spot on their Regional WEHL team. Players must still register, and are encouraged to participate in the player evaluations if possible. Registration fee will be applied to your Team Fee.
18U Girls WEHL - USA Hockey High School Division
- Birth years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
**'07 &’08 Birthyear players must complete SafeSport Training by 8/15
- Must be enrolled in a WI High School or DPI program
- Roster 18 skaters, 2 goalies, 5 alternates
- We are planning on a 5 team 18U Division this season
- The 18U Division will offer 10 hours fall practice, 15 games plus State Playoffs
- State playoffs November
- Qualifying team eligible to represent Wisconsin at USA Hockey High School National Championships

16U Girls WEHL - Tier II Before & After Season
- 16U teams will be formed in Regions that have sufficient registrations at 18U & 14U
- 16U Division will offer 10 hours of Fall practice 15 Games, plus State Playoffs
- State Playoffs November
- Qualifying team will progress to Central District and be National Tournament eligible

12U Girls WEHL - Tier II Before Season ONLY
Regional teams (if registrations are high, a second team could be added in certain Regions) Tryouts scheduled for June 15th-16th weekend in Regional locations
- 2013 - 2014 WI residents or those who play with a WAHA association are eligible (roster 17 players)
- Regional weekly practices in August and September
- Sunday Skills Session & League game play through September focused on player development
- End of Season Jamboree first weekend of October
