Girls 16U

WEHL Regional Teams

16U Division (birth years 2003 -2006) Before & After League

The tryout process will begin in August with competition weekends starting in early September and running through October.  WEHL 16U will provide the top Tier II players from each Region a chance to play with and against the best players in the state prior to the WIAA and WAHA season.  The Girls 16 & Under classification is for players born in 2003 thru 2006 who reside in WI and will play WIAA hockey or Tier II hockey.  The League will form multiple Regional teams based on registrations to focus on community based elite hockey, This is a Tier II National Bound program.  There will be 10 on-ice skill development practices and at least 16 competitions, including league games and tournaments.

  • The 16U division is an open tryout for players who are 2003-2006 birth years - High School players (2003 - 2005) who tryout for 18U but do not make that team will be evaluated for the 16U team (register in the division you wish to tryout for - only one registration necessary). The registration fee is $100. The $100 registration fee will be applied to team fee. Refund of the $100 registration fee will only be applied to players who do not make a team.
     
  • 16U: 10 hours practice, 14 games (combination of  tournament,  festivals and independently scheduled games) Before ends late October, After State Tournament March- any player on a WAHA youth tier II team must prioritize their association team over WEHL
     
  • $500.00 (registration fee applied to this cost)  Includes Jerseys and socks
